ARTHRICISE: No swimming skills are required as all exercises are done in water waist-to-shoulder depth. This class is designed for participants with mild to serious arthritis problems. Emphasis is placed on joint flexibility and range of motion exercises. Exercises are specifically designed by the Arthritis Foundation and the national YMCA.
WATER WALKING/ FINS KICKING: 30 minutes water walking / 30 minutes fins kicking. High Intensity exercises. This class has been designed for those who want that extra hard workout. Water Walking is an all body workout. Thirty minutes of water walking is equal to 2 hours of walking out of the water. High intensity exercises are done to work your heart at 60%- 80% of your maximum to increase cardiovascular endurance and burn calories. The resistance of the water is used to enhance muscle-strength. This class is perfect for those who want to exercise hard and are comfortable in deep water. Float belts are worn.
AQUACISE: A great non-impact or low impact aerobic workout. The exercises are designed to increase muscle tone, flexibility, strength and endurance. Swimming is not required. Use of equipment creates a little more resistance.
