The Child Watch (6 weeks to 5 years) or Kid Zone (6-11 years old) room will accept members’ children ages six weeks to 11 years old. Children must be signed in by an adult and checked out by the same adult. 

 

The YMCA offers a babysitting service for parents using the Y. Parents must be in the facility and are responsible for furnishing personal care items for their child/children.


Children may be taken to the new playground. If your child is in the playground please go to the front desk to sign them out before retrieving your child.

 

The child watch room is a benefit of membership. If a member checks children who are not members into the room, the fees shall be as follows: $2 per child/hr. 

CHILD WATCH GUIDELINES

  1. This area is limited to enrolled child watch participants and their parents.
  2. The Child Watch Room will accept members' children ages 6 weeks to 11 years old.
  3. Children must be signed in by an adult and signed out by the same adult.
  4. Members must stay in the facility while their child is in the Child Watch Room.
  5. Each family will be given a 1 hour time limit depending on busyness of the Child Watch Room.
  6. The Child Watch Room is a benefit of membership.
  7. If a member checks children into the room who are not members, there is a $2.00 fee per child.
  8. Please make sure any child needing a bottle is fed prior to entry. Staff is unable to provide this service.
  9. Due to the potential risk of food allergies NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK is allowed in the Child Watch Room.
  10. If your child is sick or has a fever please consider keeping them at home until they are feeling better.
