Mizzou Volleyball clinic
This clinic will be a 3-week long basic skills event led by SEC Athletes Kamani Johnson & Trinity Luckett. Coaches will guide you through a series of drills and exercises that are perfect for beginner to intermediate players!

With the help of the United States Tennis Association and Mexico High School tennis coach, Tony Senor, potential future tennis athletes can be introduced to the sport and learn the game with experienced coaching.

fALL flag football
The Mexico Area Family YMCA Flag Football Program is open to both boys & girls 1st-4th Grade.
An emphasis will be placed on safety, learning fundamentals, and having fun while learning the game of football through the flag football method.
rEGISTRATION dEADLINE: July 28, 2025
Fee: $50 members ($75 Non-Members)
Games (Weather Permitting) on Thursday Evenings:
August 28 and September 4, 11, 18, and 25
Practice 1x week starting week of August 11th
Participants will receive one mouth guard and one reversible Chiefs jersey
Rubber cleats may be worn but are not required.

All Sports
Youth Recreational Soccer
With an emphasis on fair play and fun, soccer at the Y is progressive with age-appropriate rules to help teach the game and keep it fun at every level. Our soccer program focuses on sportsmanship and teaching basic skills including kicking, passing, dribbling, shooting, defense, and working as a team.
Soccer is offered in a 6-week Spring Session and a 6 Week Fall Session for kids aged 3 through 8th Grade.
Flag Football
Spring & Fall Season 1st - 4th grade, boy & girls. We will put an emphasis on learning fundamentals and having fun while learning the game of football through the flag football model.
Tumbling
Ages 3 – 12 years old. YMCA Tumbling teaches children basic gymnastic skills, confidence coordination, flexibility & strength. Limited space per session. Spring session & fall session available.
Youth Kickball League
Ages 8-10 boys & girls Summer session. Two Games for Two Weeks on Tuesday & Thursday. Teams will be split different each game upon arrival
Youth Futsal League
We have two leagues. One for Ages 9-11 during the summer and a 7th Grade-12th Grade Winter session.
Youth Recreational Basketball
The YMCA offers 2 seasons:
6 week season in the fall (Nov/Dec)
5 week season in the winter (Jan/Mar)
Youth T-ball/Whiffle T-ball
Registration usually opens sometime in March and ends in May. Games are played in the evenings in June.
Esports Drop In
Esports Drop-In is for kiddos currently in Kinder - 6th grade. Drop-In will be held every Wednesday; 5:45 - 7:00 pm in the Upstairs Program Office. Esports Drop-In's main focus will be inclusion, communication skills, teamwork, and having FUN!
Free for both Members and Non-Members
All Youth Leagues
Youth Volleyball League:
This league is for girls in grades 3rd through 6th. Practice is during the week and games take place on Sunday evenings. For more information contact Tom Fischer.
High School Co-Ed Futsal League:
This league is for girls and boys in grades 7 through 12. Registration for this league is by individual. Players practice together during the week and then are placed on teams and games are played on Saturday afternoons. This is a Winter league.
Youth Futsal League
This league is Coed Ages 9-11 . Games/Training on Wednesday nights. This is a Summer League
Youth Kickball League
This Coed League is for ages 8-10. Two games for two weeks on Tuesday and Thursday. Summer League
